Joran van der Sloot - "I know what you did last summer"

Joran van der Sloot. A huge media hype in the USA, Aruba and here, in The Netherlands. Why? All because of the death of Natalee Holloway. If you still don't know what I'm talking about, consider reading the complete story or try to follow the news more often.

Because of the new developments, the story is a hot topic these days. The confession of Joran, taped by crime reporter Peter R. de Vries with a hidden camera, has put everyone in shock. Especially the mother of Natalee is stunned of the cruelty of Joran.

A couple of days ago, I placed an article about geeky t-shirts. Now a dutch company has placed the head of Joran on a shirt with the text "I know what you did last summer".

I know what you did last summer

AMSTERDAM - "Joran got seven million television viewers, we can make money out of that." is what the employees of the company sml.x must have thought. The first Joran-merchandise is now available online. With the text "I know what you did last summer", the head of Holland's Most Wanted is pressed on a shirt. Of course this is a reference to the successful teen horror movie from the late 90's. Distasteful? You're the only one that can answer that yourself. If the shirt is going to sell is another question. Yesterday, nobody was available at sml.x for any comments.

What do you think? Is Joran guilty or not? According to Corine de Ruiter, Joran has psychopathic traits. He sure doesn't like Peter R. de Vries: He was caught on camera throwing wine in the face of Peter. And what about the shirt? Would you wear is, or do you think it's distasteful?
